The woman behind the words.
Miriam Seeley
Who am I? This is a question that can be tackled from so many angles. I am a woman, I am a daughter, I am a (soon to be) wife, I am a sister, I am an educator, I am an athlete, I am an adventurer, I am an artist… I could continue on and on.
But, do these words really get at the heart of, “Who am I?” I don’t know. The intention behind this blog was actually to move me closer to an understanding of who I am – what matters to me, what I am passionate about, what it is that I want out of this “one precious life”.
One thing I know to be true is that I love to be outside, to move my body, to disconnect from the noise of the world for a bit and to sit in communion with nature. Each time I do, I find that I go a bit deeper into what matters to me, a new layer of passion is revealed, and a greater understanding of what I want from this life is revealed.
I question, I am always seeking new avenues of knowledge and growth, I continue to strive for greater peace and satisfaction from my days. I am working to let go of this idea of a “finish-line” and instead just appreciate the journey that is. If you too are a bit of a wanderer, a seeker, a lover of the natural world, well then I hope these words provide a bit of solace and inspiration to you.
